Which diet to choose George? Which diet to choose?

Apparently the only flawless diet for cancer is to have a diet rich in air and water.

I went to do a followup with a GI doctor who cut out a forest of polyps in my intestines two weeks ago. I thought it was going to be a basic, “So how do you feel? I feel good. Okay that’s good, bye.” He said the polyps came back negative for cancer which is great, but I didn’t realize I have to go for one more test. This one is to scan and test the bladder for polyps or something like that. That sucks but hey, what can you do?

The thing that really bothered me from the doctors visit was when he told me about the diet I need to be on so polyps don’t come back.

He wanted me to be on a high carb fruit and veggie, low fat diet.

Ummmm…….. nooooo………..

Pretty crazy huh? You go from one thing that can royally mess up your life to other things that can royally mess up your life. You can’t win for losing. Being a 42 year old dude whose made of strong stock (both parents are going strong in their mid 80’s), I’m going to have to worry about this for the next 40 to 50 years.

I mentioned this information on my video where I talk about having prostate cancer and when I was first diagnosed, if you didn’t watch it, how dare you?

To put some color on my situation….

I have stage four prostate cancer with a Gleason score of 7, so it is barely aggressive. I had no choice but to get hormone therapy due to a PSA score of 2450 which is royally high and messed up. As of July 2017 it went down to 35. I didn’t take the shots, I got my testosterone drained, so I’m running on zero testosterone in my body right now.

There are side effects for people having little to no testosterone other than the obvious sex drive and wiener problems.

These things scares me and makes me fucking refuse to go on a more plant based diet.

  • Loss of muscle mass.
  • Increased body fat
  • Increase risk of Type 2 Diabetes
  • Decreased bone mass
  • Mood changes
  • Trouble concentrating
  • Fatigue
  • Risk of Cardiovascular problems

At least for my body, a plant based diet is not going to help prevent muscle loss and weakness, messed up energy levels, bones pretty much turning to powder, or worse, the irritability, nervousness, horrible anxiety and depression that I would get if I don’t take in high amounts of fat to balance myself out. I could get calcium from a plant based diet to help prevent my bones from weakening, but it’s not going to be as effective absorbing into my body without saturated fat to make the Calcium absorption more efficient. The less fat I have, the more wacked out I get. I can feel it real quick. The more fat I eat, especially saturated fat, and drinking water with my Chlorella powder to get a high amount of nutrients, I feel balanced and, it sounds funny to say, normal.

After I calmed down since my nutrition was already off kilter the other day, I started to think clearer and realized a few things.

I respect the hell out of the doctor but he is probably what I call a “food pyramid” doctor. Doctors usually have about six hours of nutrition studying. They also tend to lump everything together too like all fats are bad except maybe unsaturated fats in “tiny” doses. Same with oils since he said stay away from that too. I use coconut oil, which is about as good as you can get, and I fucking refuse to believe I can get cancer polyps from one of the healthiest fats in existence right now. I also get plenty of vegetable nutrition and antioxidants from my Chlorella powder so I have the fruits and vegetable nutrition covered.

With my fats and protein I figure I will just focus on buying stuff that is guaranteed hormone free. Plus it stops me from going crazy.

Medicine is not going to help me

I’m not getting on anti-depressants for moods. I’m not getting on statins for cholesterol, fuck heart medicine, fuck the medicine for osteoporosis, fuck all that stuff.

I’m not stupid though. If cancer rears its ugly head in the next few years, I’ll take medicine for that to make it go away again.

Good quality nutrition has been a life saver to me. I will definitely not abandon it for something that might work.

I’m not buying anything from dumb asses like this though.
